Story time!

So my wife and I were discussing a problem I’ve been having with AI responses, how they’re often WAY too verbose for the context, and makes slogging through responses a chore.

I told her “I should create a file dictating the response type, that all it’s responses could filter through! Something that condenses information as much as possible without sacrificing clarity, keeping it readable, but minimizing word count, even at the cost of technically correct grammar.

I’ve tried calling it ‘caveman speak’ or ‘military communication style’, but the AI keeps getting confused and either sounding like

Thunk the Rock Seller

or 要么像

General G.E. McArthyson G.E.

… I need to think of a good name for this style of speaking…” ……

And my wife (my wonderful punny wife) says,

“Sounds like you’re writing a telegram, but without all the STOPs. you should call it “听起来你像是在写电报,只是省掉了那些‘STOP’结束符。

TELEGRAMMAR TELEGRAMMAR(电报语法)

” ”

And gosh darn it, I just think that is the most clever way to describe that! It’s succinct, it’s exactly what I’m looking for, it’s a pun; I just think it’s amazing!

So from now on, I’ll be referring to my preferred Working Agent response syntax as

TELEGRAMMAR. TELEGRAMMAR(电报语法)。
